Kuya Kim’s Fascination
Being an animal lover, Kim Atienza fondly called as “Kuya Kim” is an advocate of pet-ownership and pet conservation. Kuya Kim has been collecting eccentric animals since he was young. His first pet was a centipede when he was about 8. At 10, he bought hamster and snake after another. Kuya Kim’s first snake was an articulated python, not venomous one which bit him three times.
Kuya Kim’s house is a virtual zoo and a forest like where his collections grew bigger. His collections does not only includes exotic ones, he owns Hyacinth Macaw a special type of bird and 24 dogs. He lamented, he’s not too fascinated with dogs but keeps 24 mini-pinchers in their house. Among other exotic pets he possess are bearded dragons, Mindorensis crocodiles, Mata Mata trutles, African bullfrog and Python snakes. His wife Fely shares love to his exotic animals while his three kids (Jose, Eleana and Emmanuelle) also an animal lovers themselves like their father. They are very hands-on when it comes to taking care of their pets.
