SHOWTIME the Big Event

July 24th, 2010

Thousands of crowds roared at the venue as SHOWTIME held its first season’s ultimate showdown. Its main hosts (Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta and teddy Corpuz) took the center stage with their amazing production numbers. It took a lot of guts and courage for Ann Curtis to sing “On the Wings of Love” live with harness and Kuya Kim’s once of a lifetime performance with his rendition of “Kiss”.  Everybody was caught by surprise when Ann Curtis flew up high at the middle of the song. The big event also marked the first ever reunion of former “hurados” who played a very significant and challenging role in choosing the best of the best for the season.

However, the highlights of the event were the breathtaking performances of the grand finalists. All the sacrifices and hardships they’ve been through just to reach the finals have paid off by how people screamed with joy and satisfaction. It was all worth watching. At the end of the show only one group prevailed that brought great impact to madlang people and the hurados.  The best of the best has been chosen and from wildcard XB Gensan Dance Group hailed as the 1st Showtime’s Grand Winner for this season garnered an average score of 9.875 from the judges.

Piolo Pascual in “Simply KC”

July 9th, 2010

The one and only ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual was cornered by KC Concepcion on latter’s morning show “Simply KC”. His first time guesting on the show was a chance to get to know more about him especially off cam. Piolo once dropped by to visit KC on the set, and now he’s lucky to be her special guest. And the most interesting part of it, PJ and KC bonded together on screen that made the audience super “kilig”. KC surely knows a lot about of PJ which apparently shows that they are indeed close.

PJ and KC opted to keep silent about the real state of their “relationship” to prevent wrong interpretations and judgments. Their goal was to protect their “relationship” through silence. But even without words and verbal confirmations, their actions and gestures speak of it.

The multi-talented actor is also promoting his latest upcoming Teleserye “NOAH” with child-actor Zaijan Jaranilla which will be aired on July 12, 2010.
